CPG and ECF host "Success After Seminary" conference in NJ

As part of the Episcopal Church Foundation’s (ECF) Lilly Endowment National Initiative to address the economic challenges facing pastoral leaders, the Church Pension Group (CPG), in collaboration with ECF, hosted Success After Seminary on September 16-17, 2016 in Short Hills, New Jersey. Students from 14 dioceses and 8 seminaries attended the conference.

This pilot program has been designed to supplement seminary studies with practical information that will be useful in a first cure, in addition to providing opportunities for students to network with future colleagues.

The conference included presentations on personal financial management, work/life balance and benefits available through CPG, as well as ECF's strategic leadership programs and financial resources.

All the topics focused on helping participants understand what to expect and where they can turn for support during their first years as a priest.
