Celebrating Easter Together

April 11, 2020

Dear Friends,

This will be a very unusual Easter for all of us. If you are looking for a place to worship online this Sunday, ECF has compiled a list of services that hold special meaning to our staff.

I would love to invite you to join the service at Church of the Heavenly Rest, in Abilene, Texas where my son the Rev. David Romanik is Rector. The Easter Day Holy Eucharist service is on April 12 at 10:30am CDT. Click here for the live stream.

Kate Adams, our Senior Consultant shares the service of her parish, St. James Episcopal Church in New York City. She wants you to know that their music is rather special! The Easter Day Festal Eucharist is on April 12 at 10am EST. Click here for the live stream.

Sandra Montes, EdD., our Spanish Language Resource Consultant invites you to join the service at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Manor, Texas where her brother the Rev. Alex Montes-Vela is the Pastor. This is a wonderful choice if you’re interested in a bilingual Spanish-English service. The Easter Sunday service is on April 12 at 11am CDT. Click here to join Facebook Live.

Jim Murphy, our Managing Program Director invites you to join the service at this own parish, the Church of the Transfiguration in New York City. The Easter Day service is on April 12 at 11am EST. Click here to watch live on YouTube.

Melissa Rau, our Director of Partnerships and New Initiatives shares the service of her diocese – the Diocese of Pennsylvania. The Rt. Rev Bishop Daniel G. P. Gutiérrez will lead an Easter Eucharist telecast live on Philadelphia's CBS affiliate on Channel 3 on April 12 at 5:30am EST. You can also join the Bishop live at 10am EST at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral. Click here to watch live on YouTube.

We welcome you to join us and our communities in any of these services. We may be separated physically this Easter, but we can still worship together.

Faithfully,

Donald V. Romanik
