History and All ECF Fellows
History of the Fellowship Partners Program
ECF has a long-standing commitment to raising up learned leaders for the Episcopal Church. Since 1964 ECF has awarded over 185 Fellowships to individuals pursuing advanced academic studies and special ministries with the aim of educating and equipping future clergy and lay leaders. The Fellowship Partners Program has evolved over the decades to adapt to the changing needs of the Church, society, and the world, yet its purpose of encouraging talented leaders remained the same. ECF Fellows are involved in all aspects of the Church’s life. They impact our seminaries, congregations, social ministries, college campuses, conventions and councils, and scholarly writing throughout the world. Our hope is that their gifts and talents continue to influence and inspire feature generations.
