ECF Welcomes Four New Board Members

The ECF Board of Directors recently elected three new board members: S. Todd Anderson from Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Andrew H. Luke from Midlothian, Virginia and Michael S. Skardon from Alexandria, Virginia. The board is also welcoming G. Peter Macon from Cornelius, North Carolina who was appointed as a director by the Most Rev. Michael B. Curry, Presiding Bishop and Primate.

Donald V. Romanik, President of ECF said, “This is an exciting time for ECF. We’re very fortunate to have Todd, Andy, Mike and Pete join the ECF family. They all bring a variety of skills, energy, enthusiasm as well as many years of experience serving our Church.”

Todd is an experienced financial services compliance executive, having worked in this field for over twenty years. Currently he serves as Chief Compliance Officer, VP of Compliance for Alliant Credit Union. Todd recently moved to Glen Ellyn, Illinois from Delaware, Ohio where he was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Worthington and served on the Finance Committee and was involved in many other parish activities and ministries.

Andy is a marketing, sales professional, and business leader with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, business-to-business marketing and strategy. Currently he serves as Vice President, Liquid Packaging, for global packaging manufacturer WestRock, located in Richmond, VA.He worships at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Richmond, VA, where he serves as lay eucharistic minister and verger. As Co-chair of the successful $9.7 million Embracing a New Century capital campaign, Andy played a leadership role in project definition, fundraising, campaign communications, and project management. He has been a member of the Vestry, been involved in Christian formation, led several mission trips and served on a variety of parish committees.

Mike is the Vice President for International Business at DRS Technologies, Inc., a leader in the international aerospace and defense industry headquartered in Arlington, VA. Prior to starting his business career, Mike had a 30-year military career in the U.S. Army that included tactical assignments as a cavalry officer in Korea, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the Continental U.S., and also as a Middle East and Africa foreign area officer with assignments in Iraq, Egypt, Morocco and Washington. Mike worships at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Alexandria, VA where he serves as Chairman of the Discernment Committee. He has also been actively involved in parishes in Büdingen, GE, Monterey, CA, and Hinesville, GA.

Pete is CEO of Macon & Associates, Inc., an engineering consultant firm located in Cornelius, NC. Launched in 1995, the firm consults at the engineering, design, and executive levels offering material expertise and manufacturing solutions. Pete worships at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Huntersville, NC where he has served as junior and senior warden, lector, teacher and stewardship planning. Pete has been active at the diocesan level including serving as Project Assistant to Bishop Michael Curry.

ECF’s Board of Directors will convene in New York on November 9-11, 2017, where they will focus on the strategic direction of the organization and its emphasis on transformational leadership throughout the Church.
