Buck Mountain Church, Earlysville, VA
Building the Dream
The members of Buck Mountain Episcopal Church call their congregation "the little church with the big heart." Since 1747 they have reached out to their local community and the wider world in the name of Christ. Buck Mountain's successful capital campaign exceeded their primary goal of $439,000 and will be able to expand their parish hall to accommodate more and larger classrooms for Sunday School and meetings, include a nursery, a fellowhsip area, and a reconfigured kitchen. Additionally, the new facility will be ADA compliant.

Freed for Ministry
The Diocese of Western North Carolina met its capital campaign goal of $1.5MM and will be able to expand their ministry in four crucial areas: campus ministries; providing more help for those in need; Camp Henry scholarships, and spanish speaking ministries.

The Episcopal Diocese of Chicago's $8MM capital campaign udated St. James Commons, making the space more usable and welcoming. With a total of more than $18 million raised, the campaign has surpassed the initial goal, connected talented lay leadership throughout the diocese, and attracted support for new ministries.
Shrine Mont Camp & Conference Center
Shout it from the Mountain
For more than 50 years, Shrine Mont Camps have been a focal point of ministry for the youth in the Diocese of Virginia. Their $2MM capital campaign will help them achieve two goals. It will create a $1MM endowment that will provide scholarships for 175 youth and families to attend a Shrine Mont camp each year. Additionally, $1MM will renew the three camp facilities through renovated and new cabins, better protection for facilities from the elements; new staff housing, and expanded camp capacity and meeting space and an endowment to preserve the facility in the future.
