ECF Vital Practices is Now Mobile!
The Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) is pleased to announce that it has launched a mobile-optimized version of its award-winning website, ECF Vital Practices. To see it, users can launch a browser on their mobile device and navigate to www.ecfvp.org. The mobile-optimized version of ECF Vital Practices features functionality that makes it easier to find resources available on the site:
“We are constantly exploring new ways of supporting faith communities,” said Miguel Escobar, ECF Program Director. “By conducting user surveys on regular basis, we learned that many people were accessing Vital Practices primarily on their smart phones or mobile devices, so we wanted to improve that experience by creating a mobile version that would be easier to read and navigate, as well as provide a simple way for people to share articles or other resources.” ECF Vital Practices offers vestry members and other people of faith resources and tools to respond to the changing needs of the Church. It is a web-based resource that includes articles by experts and peers, blogs for sharing ideas about faith and leadership, stories about real life lessons of change and leadership, tools for stewardship, communications, and opportunities for sharing stories and examples. The theme of new content for September, 2012, is Practicing Generosity. For more information, or to share ideas about ECF Vital Practices, email Miguel Escobar at mescobar@episcopalfoundation.org. |
