ECF Fellows News Summer 2010

ECF Fellows are doing exciting minstry throughout the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion.  Here are just a few recent updates:

John Dally (1989) gave the Styberg Lectures at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary on preaching in early April 2010.  His 2008 book Choosing the Kingdom:  Missional Preaching for the Household of God was published by the Alban Institute.  Additionally, John keynoted three week-long Missional Preaching Academies for the Presbyterian Church over the summer of 2010.

Cynthia Briggs Kittredge (1990) was appointed in March 2010 to the international steering committee for Theological Education for the Anglican Communion, a working party of the Anglican Communion Primates.  Cynthia is presently serving as academic dean at Seminary of the Southwest.  Click here for the story from Episcopal Life Online.

Jane Shaw (1991) is the new dean of Grace Cathedral in the Diocese of CaliforniaClick here for the story from Episcopal Life Online.

Robert Hughes III (2001) has been awarded the inaugural Poullart Libermann Award in Pneumatology from Duquesne University for his book Beloved Dust:  Tides of the Spirit of Christian Life (Contiuum 2008).  The Libermann award recognizes an individual who has made the most significant scholarly contribution to the area of pneumatology in the preceding five year period.  Bob will deliver the annual Holy Spirit Lecture at Duquesne University on September 17, 2010, in Pittsburgh, PA.

ECF is also pleased to announce that Miguel Escobar began working for ECF on July 6, 2010.  He will serving as Assistant Program Director in the area of leadership programs with responsibilities including the Fellowship Partners Program and Vestry Papers.
