Make a Gift in Honor or in Memory
A gift in recognition of a friend or family member’s birth, baptism, marriage, death or other significant occasion is a meaningful tribute and a lasting way to honor them. If you would like to make a gift “In Honor” or “In Memory” please click here. Be sure to indicate the name of the person(s) you are honoring with the name and address of the person(s) you would like us to notify.
IRA Charitable Rollover
If you are 70 ½ or older, you can make a contribution to the Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) directly from your IRA simply by instructing the plan administrator to make the transfer directly to ECF. You are allowed to transfer up to $100,000 a year to the charities of your choice.
Your gift will be transferred directly to ECF, will not be reported as taxable income and will count toward your minimal distribution requirements.
And, most important, your generous support will help sustain our work empowering congregations as it enables us to continue to find innovative ways to support the Church of the future.
To learn more about making a donation from your IRA, call Amy R. Rome, ECF’s Director of Development, at (800) 697-2858 or email email@example.com.
