The Foundation Advantage | ECF Capital Campaign Clients
What: Consultation and management service Who: Episcopal dioceses, congregations, schools, and agencies
The same campaign methodology that has raised hundreds of millions through its Discern-Study-Ask approach to capital campaigns is now offered through Episcopal Church Foundation Giving Services.
The Discern-Study-Ask approach provides a proven path to shaping a shared vision, gauging support for it, and then gathering funds.
1. Discern Raising funds begins quietly, with a prayerful planting of seeds in the hearts and minds of your constituency. Discernment asks: What is God calling our ministry to accomplish?
Through the discernment process, you will be able to identify your ministry’s needs, involve others to examine those needs in detail, and communicate a collective vision for your ministry.
2. Study A feasibility study involves the entire congregation in sharing its thoughts on the proposed plans.
The findings from the study are professionally tabulated and examined. The resulting report includes statistical data as well as insightful comments from your constituency.
The study gives you the information you need to shape your plans and set an attainable goal. The study also provides a blueprint for the final phase of your effort, identifying both leadership and potential donors.
3. Ask Thanks to the information gained through the feasibility study, a foundation for giving has already been laid. Our highly trained consultants will now work with you through the final phases of your campaign, including: 1) preparation, planning, and prayer, 2) leadership recruitment, 3) advance gifts solicitation, 4) general gifts solicitation, and 5) celebration and acknowledgement.
