2017 Vital Teams Leadership Academy

The Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) is gathering ten diocesan employees who are engaged in congregational development for a leadership academy in December 2017. Particpants will leave with the Vital Teams training materials, a copy of ECF's tool for identifying collaborative leaders for clergy search processes, and stronger relationships with other diocesan leaders engaged in congregational development. This event will be held at DaySpring Episcopal Conference Center in Parrish, Florida (near Tampa) beginning at 9 am on Wednesday, December 6 and concluding on Thursday, December 7, by noon. The cost for the Vital Teams Leadership Academy is $260.00 per person, which includes lodging, meals and a memory stick of the Vital Teams training materials and selection tool. Participants are responsible for their own transportation arrangements.

In January 2014 the Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) launched a pilot program called Vital Teams, the long-term vision of which is of an Episcopal Church where all congregations can receive highly effective team leadership training. Since its launch, ECF has developed and successfully piloted a new Vital Teams curriculum that focuses on the three areas that effective leadership teams are constantly balancing: strong relationships, clear process, and a focus on results.
