Just in time for the start of the congregational program year, the Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) is offering free webinars on a variety of topics including vestry leadership, starting a planned giving program, “scrappy church ministry”, and the basics of capital campaigns. Vestries: The Next Six Months (September 10, 2015 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm EDT): This one-hour webinar provides an overview of free resources in annual stewardship, nomination and election of vestry members, annual meetings, vestry orientations, and the first vestry retreat.
Blessings and Struggles of Scrappy Church Ministry (September 22, 2015 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm EDT): "Scrappy churches" have a spirit of resilience in the face of great adversity. In this ministry, the Rev. Nancy Frausto, 2013 ECF Fellow, celebrates this ministry.
Basics of a Capital Campaign (September 23, 2015 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm EDT): Provides a step-by-step overview of the capital campaign methodology that has led hundreds of Episcopal congregations to raise money effectively, build new leaders, and improve communications.
